Ratification d’un contrat majeur avec Air Transat/Industry-leading agreement ratified with Air Transat.

Montréal, QC – Les membres de l’AIM à Montréal, Toronto, Edmonton, Québec, Calgary et Vancouver ont signé une nouvelle convention collective de plusieurs années avec Air Transat.
Les membres ont voté pour accepter la nouvelle convention collective négociée par une équipe nationale d’employés et de membres de l’AIM.
“Nous sommes parvenus à beaucoup négocier”, a déclaré Peter Tsoukalas, président général du district du transport 140 de l’AIM. “Bien que ce fut un long processus, c’était un contrat que les membres ne pouvaient tout simplement pas refuser. Nous sommes très fiers de ce contrat.

Guide Dog Helps IAM Member’s Son at Grand Lodge Convention

Recently at the 40th IAM Grand Lodge Convention, Local 751F member Alberta England had a life-changing event take place for her autistic son, Jackson.
Russ Gittlen, Guide Dogs of America/Tender Loving Canines President introduced England and her son to the service dog, Bobby, at the right time. The incredible event, captured on video, tells the whole story of how these animals are changing people’s lives.

Ottawa,On, 27/Oct/22– L’AIM appuie fortement l’initiative du NPD dirigée par Alexandre Boulerice, un projet de loi qui, s’il est adopté, empêcherait le recours aux travailleurs de remplacement, ou une loi antibriseurs de grève. Le projet de loi toucherait les lieux de travail de compétence fédérale.
